DEVICES:

Many applications will require decent hardware and modern OS versions in order to be effective. My personal take has always been to go affordable but not cheap. I personally use nothing but Android devices as they're substantially more cost effective, however, not always as reliable as an iOS device.

The specs to look for are as follows:

Android 5.1 (Lollipop) or Higher
Quad-core Processor
1Gb+ RAM
8GB+ Storage
Wireless b/g/n
Rootable
$20-$30 Each

Option 1- You can use existing hardware that you have lying around (PC, old phones, your current phone) to earn smaller amounts of income to slowly expand.

Option 2- Investing a small amount in 5-10 Phones to grow faster. (Recommended)

Set-up Process:

Set the device up as typical with any new devices setup, taking care to log in with your farming Gmail account.
Prepare the device settings for farming:
Extend display timeouts out as far as they will go.
Dim the display
Turn down the volume(s)
Turn on Airplane mode and re-enable WiFi
Enable"Allow Unknown Sources" in the Security Settings
Enable developer mode and enable "Always on" (Settings > About > Software > Tap Build 7 times)
Download Kingroot from http://www.kingroot.net/wap/download
Root the device with Kingroot. After this is completed you can remove Kingroot and replace it with a full root using Super-SUME Pro ($2.99) from the Play Store. This isn't necessary but helps with the life of the device, at least from personal experience.
Clean the junk. There are a number of junk cleaning apps on the Play Store. I personally prefer Clean Master. These apps allow the disabling of factory bloatware as well at routine maintenance cleaning of the device.
Get yourself a quick reboot widget. My preference is Reboot Widget. Its a simple 1-touch widget that will restart the device effectively eliminating several seconds per reboot process. This is essential once your farm grows.
Install VMLite VNC Server from the Play Store ($9.99) to have remote access to your phones anywhere! (Optional)
Install your preferred money making application(s). I will discuss applications individually in future posts

You have to test out the best apps and websites and see which ones work for you the best. Everyone has different results, but below are some of the most profitable ones.

You will need to pay $50 Extra per month to get unlimited internet. This way, there are no secret charges and you can pay that off easily, once you have a good amount of devices. Electricity will not be affected even with a huge number of devices.
